The staff are always so nice and the doctors listen to me and take time with me. On one occasion, they found that I had pneumonia when my own doctor didn’t know it, and I was able to get the treatment that I needed.

Everyone was very professional and polite. The doctor and nurses I saw was very caring and attentive. Yes, I would certainly recommend your clinic and I will back but I hope not with poison ivy although I realize it could always be worse! I’m sure happy I got the steroid injection and the Medrol pack. As prescribed, I applied thin layers of the Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream topically to the itching sites; however, that didn’t help itching and had some inflammation from it but I think it may have been because I sprayed it so often days and nights with the Rash Relief spray I picked up at Walgreen’s and it did say it was for poison ivy. Thank you again for your excellent care.

The postive things i can say is that the place was so clean, and the staff was just incredible!!! I even cried my eyes out and one of the nurses rubbed my back and truly calmed me down. i felt like the staff was incredible to be honest, and the positive things i can say is that they determined i have an ulcer in my eye. Care spot tried to give me a referral to an eye doctor but because my primary didnt authorize it, i was not able to go that day, because my primary care is actually 4 hours away. I was in an urgent situation but too far from my primary and wyw doctors need a referral. It put me in a complete state of panic because of how much pain my eye is in after a night sleep. it doesnt hurt dring the day but in the mornings it is like araging fire in my eye ball. I really needed help. and care spot tried with all their power to get me to an eye doctor but they could not. The frustrating part is that my referral still has not gone through still and most likely i will be on my own until monday which is 4 more days of me truly suffering. So i as sent home with a “numbing eye cream” but with no solution or pan relief for a scary, painful eye injury that is likely an infections from a puncture in my eye that happened in march. The reason i am giving a 5 is because i truly dont know if what i am about to say happened or not but i have horrible experiences with hospitals and urgent care because of the way i look. I am very very thin and dress very wacky. I am from rural ohio (the heart of the opiod epidemic) and south florida and the nearest local hospital where i am from has ALOT of homeless people and people with addiction problems and my whole adult like i am always treated like a junkie. I have had so many horrible experiences with this that i have anxiety anyway and i would never dare ask for pain medication because of the fear how i will be treated – but the reality is i needed pain medication. I was afraid to ask because of how i may be treated…i feel like once we all realized that i was not going to be seen by a specialist that day it wold have been comforting to have at least a small presciption of anything from 800mg ibeprofen or a mild hydrocodonen to make sure i had some relief until i see the doctor. when i left all i had was an eye ulcer diagnosis and a referral that actually was useless (not carespots fault), but the thought of going home to spend another night eith that pain in the morning, i almost had a full on panic attack and i drove back to Carespot and was hysterically crying because i didnt want to go home with nothing since an eye specialist could not see me that day, and still hasnt. The staff was incredible and rubbed my back and offered water to calm down. I felt very vulnerable and also stuck and scared. Everything i read on the internet says eye ulcers are very dangerous and are an urgent matter, but i still cant get in to see anyone yet. the nurse said that she had calledi n the numbing antibiotic cream but i had left before she told me…that made me feel better and i left at that point and immediatly went to fill the prescription, and put it in my eye immedattely and went home for a phone appointment with my primary to get the referral. and then stayed in bed the rest of the day because i was so stressed out and needed the rest. the referal is till pending and waiting for authorization… i am still in pain in the mornings and irritaed in the day and i am just waiting for my authorized referral to go through, with no idea when that may be. I certainly hope that the reason they allowed me to leave in pain knowing i was unable to see anyone randomly and not because of any passing judgement on me…because of the way i look, i understand that is my past trauma but i cant understand why they would let me suffer knowing that i wouldnt be able to see a specialist that day and would they feel any differnt knowing now i actally wont have a chance to see someone till maybe monday (which is 5 days in total) and I am terrified of how my eye will feel in the mornings, and im scared to loose vision in my eye while i wait. This was my first time ever going to an urgent care, and i am very grateful that they determined i have an ulcer in my eye, and i am hoping that the antibiotic cream heals the ulcer, but i do not understand why they didn’t at least prescribe a strong ibeprofen or something stronger. I found a Darvocet in my friends cabinet from 2006 and i was in soo much pain this morning when i woke up that i actually took that this morning..GROSS!!!! That is when i actually got upset because i spent 2 hours at carespot yesterday, they determined i have an eye ulcer and now i am eating a darvocet from 2006 because the “numbing eye cream” does not fix the irritation, it does relieve some of the pain for sure for about 15 minutes hopefully it cures the ulcer, if the ulcer is from infection and then urgent care would have pulled through. I am mainly writing this because if for some reason they did not prescribe me pain medication “because i look like a junkie” i need them to know that i was in a very desperate situation and my pride would not allow me to ask for pain relief because i was afraid i would be treated like a junkie, like so many times in my life. That is how i have been treated my entire life when it comes to hospitals, because if i go its because i am in pain…so not everyone who needs pain medication who is super thin and wears worn out clothes is a junkie. I do alot of great work in my community and am a solid human on all levels. You can even check out my instagram @tuesday_tuenasty to see what a lively being i am…i NEVER go to the doctor unless i seriously need to. i just honestly cant believe that between urgent care, my insurance, my primary care, and the eye specialist that my eye is not being treated as an emergency, i think letting me sit here for 5 days with an eye ulcer is bad medicine adn if my eye sight ends up damaged, i will be furious. looking back I should have went to the emergency room and not urgent care. The emerency in shands has been the greatest medical experience i have ever had. i had never been treated with as much repect as when i went there for my pnemonia and the eye injury. They understood eye pain very well and they treated me so well when i scratched my cornea in march which is what the current injury is a response to. but they had already sent a referrel for an eye doctor but it wasnt authorized either, so i tried urgent care and they told me that they could get me are referral, which was not true but i dont blame them for that. I had spent all morning in a parking lot trying on the phone trying to figure it all out and rolled the dice with urgent care. I still cannot believe i have an eye ulcer, am in pain, and still cant get an appointment with an eye specialist. Had i had some pain relief i would not be as anxious, and would be some type of comfort right now…i just put the numbing cream in and it works for a bit and starts bothering me again. instead im eating expired darvocet from 2006 and a friend is bringing me ibeprofen from when she gave birth tomorrow and i should be ok…but wow yall? What was the reason why you did not prescribe pain medication to me? i really want to know…thank you i know this is long and i never do these surveys….but i am upset that i am siiting here in pain, and i am scared that my eye will be permanelty damaged if my referal goes through too late.
