I didn’t have an appointment and signed in. They let me fill out my “paperwork” digitally on an I pad in my car. Nurse came out to get me and was very calming to my real nervousness about being in a place where I could possibly pick up covid. NOT HERE! They are very stringent and only have1 person has n there at a time. You are handed a mask and brought to an exam room(sorry, I didn’t mention I have no symptoms, but needed a negative test preceding my carpal tunnel surgery) The nurse explained everything that would be happening.) The doctor came in and told me to bend my head back 45 degrees and in came the swab. He said “we need this in here 8 seconds and he counted it down for me while constantly spinning the swab. It wasn’t how far back that bothered me, it was whatever the swab was coated with. It burns! I highly recommend them if you are feeling ill, or just want some peace of mind. I got tested on late Monday afternoon, 5ish and they had the results Weds. morning. Yes, I will be returning there if needed. Their layers of protection will really make you glad you chose them. Stay SAFE, STAY HOME!

Everyone from the first call I made to the MD that saw me to do my COVID-19 test (which came back negative) were so pleasant and helpful. Didn’t have to ask questions over and over again since I got the details clearly and immediately. I think MedPost has a well trained staff and this opinion comes from being an employee of a high-end facility.

I was a little irritated because the provider kept telling me I should’ve gone to my primary care doctor. She said this even though I explained multiple times that I was a student and due to the circumstances of coronavirus I was not in the same town as my primary care doctor. I was only able to talk to my primary care via telehealth and they recommended I go to an urgent care for in-person care. Although I hadn’t mentioned it, I’m currently in medical school and understand her point of view. However, I think in a time like coronavirus not everyone (like students) has access to their primary physicians and may be sent to urgent cares due to the limitations of telehealth and the providers could be a little more understanding.
