I came in with GI symptoms and a low grade fever. My temperature was never checked during the visit. When I was explaining my symptoms to the provider it seemed like she wasn’t listening. Considering my chief complaint was nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain you’d think the provider would assess my abdomen but she never did. She looked in my ears, saw some fluid in them and decided I had a sinus infection. That the infection must have dripped into my stomach and that was causing my symptoms. I did not have any symptoms of a sinus infection. She prescribed antibiotics, allergy medicine and zofran and sent me on my way. I will not be taking the antibiotics when she had little proof I had a bacterial infection. Providers recklessly prescribing antibiotics is why we have so many resistant bacterial infections. Also, antibiotics would have only wreaked more havoc on my already sick stomach. I would not recommend this location or this provider to anyone.

Back office staff was friendly, it took a long time to be seen when there was only one patient ahead. The front office girl was rude.

Welcoming at front desk, polite and helpful staff. Staff was able to answer all of my questions, had sanitizer available as you walk in to facility, helpful with filling out all required documentation for employment.

One of the women at the front desk was way too militant about covid precautions. Palm Desert is not New York City.

I just wish that care spot had the antibody testing available. My daughter’s couldn’t do the swab test, and I just wish there were more choices for testing. I still believe in the Baptist family and thought the doctor was great. Thank you. Sincerely, [NAME REMOVED]

Yes my visit to CareSpot was nothing but embarrassing the front Receptionist Was very rude and would have me come up to the counter multiple times and then tell me to go sit down like a dog After finally getting in the back the nurse came in I was there because of rash The head actually tripled in size in 24 hours .not only did he not take all of my information But also was not worried at all about my allergies to medications didn’t even bother to look at the rash Before he walked out I did let him know that I was on a certain prescription that I could not remember the name of but I knew that the type of pill only came in three different names and I was on the one that started with “r”. He left the room and decided to make fun of me to the PA right outside the door things like “I think I’ll show up And tell them I’m on the pill that starts with an R “which is not what was relayed to him he also told the PA but I looked fine to him The PA finally decides to come in to stare at me to the point where I finally had to ask her if she thought she might look at the rash at some point today she does at this point and tells me that she’s going to have to get a culture which I told her that was fine she started asking me a questions About my medication history not the fact that I had had surgery or what was it for or what was done or my medical history me being an LPN myself was already aware that they must be thinking I was there to get A form of opiate or some thing so I quickly explained to her I did not want any pills I wanted her to tell me if she thought the rash came from the surgery prior or was it something new without answering any of my questions she lets me know that I am in fact infected she’s putting me on The antibiotic Bactrim which I had to tell her again I could not have due to being highly allergic to sulfa she scarfs Then decides to put me on doxycycline .still waiting on report of the swab that was taken I just don’t understand I have very good health insurance which was used and also paid my co-pay to have second class service and also to be made fun of in my face
