Doctor and staff are great. Very professional and nice. Everyone seems to move a little slow. I was in the exam room waiting for 25 minutes. Then after the treatment, I had to wait for another 10-15 minutes for the instruction sheet to take home. But overall it was a good visit.

Was told from Abrazo Orthopedic to go to MedPost for an CORVID 19 test (for surgery) and I would not need a a doctor’s order. I called them first and they said when I had my test, it would take between 3 to 5 days to get results. They also said I would have to take the test and come back in to pick the results up and take it to my doctor. (???) This is a 2 hour round trip. After calling all over for another provider, I went ahead and took the test at Medpost.. When I got there, I had to see a doctor first, before the test. I did get the results via phone which I appreciated, however I was told to come and get them because they didn’t have time or manpower to fax the results. (Who does that? It takes 2 minutes). I asked them to fax the results to to my doctor and had the surgical coordinator call to obtain them and they are supposed to be faxed. I had already signed a release of records to send the results to the Dr. When I was there, there were only three other patients and one was a drug screen. I don’t call that call a heavy load. A facility should be focused on the Patient’s needs, not their own. ( I know there is a virus going on, however, faxing, even after hours is not an extreme hardship) My husband is a Physician and owned several walk in clinics in the past. They would never think of making the Patient a courier for their convenience. I was not told of the not needed Doctor exam, but I had to have one. This caused a lot of unnecessary stress and confusion just before surgery. Whoever came up with the idea that the patient should transport the results should be fired. Obviously extremely poor management and poor judgement. PS: The doctor was lovely, even through I didn’t need to see him. I believe was a Dr. Park or Parks.
