The staff was professional. We were seen at our scheduled time. The nurse that did my daughter’s strep and mono test was great. The doctor came in and talked to my daughter and I. He was very kind to my daughter. We are new to the area and very anxious about being in an urgent care during this time. Very happy with the service!

When I called to discern the safety measures put in place for the Coronavirus I was told that everyone was checked as they came in and given a mask and asked to use hand sanitizer. And that we would be brought back to a private room while we waited. I was told to come inside, check in and the wait in my car until they called for a room. I said I was not comfortable, or saw they safety in walking in and out of their facility. So, the girl told me to just call when I got there and they would need my insurance and drivers license. I made an appointment. So when I got there I called three times and no one answered, I went inside. The girl from behind the counter said use the hand sanitizer. No mask, there were people in the waiting room, no masks. Some had them some did not. Then I waited at the counter for quite a little while, then asked for my insurance and drivers license. Then I was given a tablet to answer several questions! All the while standing in a waiting room with several other people. I grabbed a wipe and cleaned off the tablet . Then I had to wait for someone to get back with me, and I continued to stand and wait before I was brought back to a room. When I called for my appointment I told the girl I had been running a temp, had a very sore throat, aches and chills! I would think just for other people’s safety they would have been on more alert when I arrived! When taken back to the room, no one told me how the room was cleaned since the person before me. So I cleaned my chair myself!! When the Dr arrived she had my insurance cards and tested me and gave me a script. She was very good! I had to wait five days for my Coronavirus test results and I called twice. Eventually I got an email and later that same day someone called me with results! In hindsight, there is no reason those initial questions couldn’t have been done online OR in the room, that should have been cleaned and sprayed – since the virus can survive airborne for 3 hours! The staff should be better educated and taught to communicate with patients so they feel safe!! They could have been friendlier because smiling eyes can be seen even when wearing a mask. Except for your DR. I did not feel secure in your facility and would definitely look elsewhere first . You are very conveniently located but that is not everything!!

Dr. Thorpe is wonderful. He’s helped me twice this year when I’ve been in excruciating pain and I’m very thankful. The staff is friendly and the wait time wasn’t long!

The male nurse at the front desk who did the X-rays was AWESOME! He acted like he wanted to be there and had AWESOME bedside manners. On the other hand, the doctor and the young lady nurse that worked with me just didn’t have no energy. They were very nonchalant as if they were ready to go. While I realize it was at the end of the day, I still needed to be treated like I was the first patient. Why? I was in pain!! Additionally, I feel the doctor left out basic information of which I had to ask him. I’ve never had a knee injury, thus he has to be clear about what it will take for me to heal.

I don’t know what the girls name at the front ,receptionist. One girl was on the phone the other girl who I had to talk with ( well ….let me say this about that !) A knife fell off the counter into my foot laceration wrapped and bleeding and I’m sorry maybe she was new but I was not in the mental state for her inability to help me , or ask me all kinds of questions that didn’t pertain.
