August 24, 2017
Memphis, Tenn. — Nashville-based CareSpot is a leading urgent care provider expanding into the greater Memphis area on Monday, December 9th. The Bartlett center is located at 3025 Kirby Whitten Road; and the center in Cordova is located at 1645 Germantown Parkway. The Bartlett and Cordova communities are invited to a Grand Opening Week celebration from December 9 – 13th at both centers. Visitors can stop by the new Bartlett or Cordova center anytime 8am – 8pmto meet the staff, enjoy light refreshments, and register to win a digital tablet. Additionally, the first 100 visitors to tour either center will receive a care kit which includes $200 worth of valuable health care savings to use throughout the year.
The new 3,200-square-foot center in Bartlett is located across the street from Regions Bank near Kroger on Kirby Whitten Road, and it is convenient to shopping and professional offices in the area. Cordova’s center is 3,304 square feet, located directly in front of Kroger in The Commons at Dexter Lakes, and is also convenient to many retail shops. Both centers will provide the same broad array of urgent care, health check, and occupational health services found at all CareSpot locations, including on-site X-rays, vaccinations and lab testing. Most insurance plans are accepted.
The opening of the Bartlett and Cordova centers is significant as it marks the expansion of CareSpot into West Tennessee, bringing the total to 12 CareSpot urgent care centers in the state. “Providing locations that are convenient and close to where people live and work is important to our customers, so we want to provide as many options as possible. Once people experience how convenient healthcare can be, many customers actively refer CareSpot to others,” said Paul Dickison, Vice President of Marketing for CareSpot. “We’re thrilled to be able to extend our services into West Tennessee and hope to find more opportunities in the area.”
Patients will benefit from the convenience of online and mobile scheduling tools at CareSpot.com. Customers can save a spot in line before walking in, or book an appointment for a future time or day from their computers or smartphones. These conveniences allow patients to spend more time at home and less time in the lobby. The centers will also feature new check-in tablets for a nearly paperless, streamlined registration when patients arrive.
CareSpot also offers the convenience of treating non-emergent medical problems that can develop unexpectedly and require immediate attention, filling the gap between primary care physicians and hospital emergency rooms when patients can’t wait for an appointment. Same-day visits at CareSpot can be a more affordable alternative to a hospital emergency department for non-life threatening issues. Hours at all CareSpot centers in Tennessee are 8am – 8pm, seven days a week. Call (901) 562-0933 to reach the Bartlett center, or call (901) 881-3459 to speak with staff in Cordova.
